About Me

I started writing and editing professionally while studying for my doctorate in Applied Linguistics at New York University. I've developed over two dozen books, including several New York Times bestsellers.

Now it's time to write about what's important to me: Agitating for social and cultural change via my words and actions.

My vision is a world where humankind understands and accepts that the other sentient creatures of Planet Earth are not our resources to use, manage, exploit, eat, wear, or play with.
